How to File a Complaint

If there is a suspicion that the undertakings concluded a vertical agreement or state administration authorities or self-administration authorities restricted competition you may file a complaint to the Antimonopoly Office of the Slovak Republic.

For more convenience, a template is available. It can be submitted electronically or downloaded at the bottom of the page.

In case of suspicion of a vertical agreement the complaint should in particular include the following information:

Company / companies suspected of the infringement of competition rules

Description of the conduct, which constitutes an infringement of competition rules

Provide a description of the act, actions or proceedings, which should have occurred or is occurring.
Description of the undertaking/undertakings, that is/are suspected of an infringement, its/their scope of business, description of the market and its/their market position; description of the supply chain

Description of the goods/services related to this particular behaviour

Detailed description of the conduct, which in your opinion constitutes an infringement of competition rules (e.g. nature of the agreement, i.e. its restrictions, their continuation, the method of execution of this agreement, or motives, to be followed by this agreement)

Why is the undertaking’s conduct anti-competitive? What is its negative impact on competition and consumers?

What do you expect? What result should your complaint bring?

Back up your arguments with an evidence, should you have any available (e.g. statistics, news and information explaining functioning of the market, contracts, invoices, price lists, correspondence, e-mails and other documents proving anti-competitive behavior, etc.).

Please, provide any other information and facts that you consider important.
