On 17 August 2018 the Antimonopoly Office of the Slovak Republic, the Division of Concentrations, (hereafter "the Office") stopped the administrative proceedings in the matter of a merger, which would be based on the acquisition of indirect exclusive control of the undertaking Dr. Martin Čepel, Ph.D., MBA, Bratislava over the undertaking OKTAN, a.s., Kežmarok.
The merger in question was notified to the Office as an intention. In the course of the administrative proceedings, its participant withdrew, in its entirety, the application to initiate the proceedings. On that basis, the Office issued a decision on stopping the administrative proceedings.
The decision came into force on 17 August 2018.
