MERGERS: AMO SR stopped the administrative proceedings in the matter of merger of ISTROKAPITAL SE and ENERGOCHEMICA SE

On 26 October 2016 the Antimonopoly Office of the Slovak Republic, the Division of Concentrations (hereafter “the Office”), stopped the administrative proceedings in the matter of merger grounded in the acquisition of direct exclusive control of the undertaking ISTROKAPITAL SE, seated at 4, Arch. Makariou & Kalogreon, NICOLAIDES SEA VIEW CITY, Block C, 5th floor, Flat: 506, 6016 Larnaca, the Republic of Cyprus (hereafter „ISTROKAPITAL SE“) over the undertaking ENERGOCHEMICA SE, seated at Janáčkovo nábřeží 478/39, Smíchov, 150 00 Prague 5, the Czech Republic.
The Office stopped the administrative proceedings since there was no reason to conduct it. The undertaking ISTROKAPITAL SE did not achieve such a total turnover from business activities in the preceding accounting period to become the subject of control by the Office.
The decision came into force on 27 October 2016.
