Notice of proposal of commitments - public consultation

On 11 December 2019 the Antimonopoly Office of the Slovak Republic (hereafter “the Office”) initiated an administrative proceedings No. 0031/OZDPaVD/2019 in the matter of a possible agreement restricting competition according to the Article 4 Paragraph 1 in conjunction with the Article 4 Paragraph 4 Letter (c) of the Act No. 136/2001 Coll. on Protection of Competition and the Article 101 Paragraph 1 Letter (c) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union in the field of the sale of original toner cartridges for printers, copiers, fax machines and other similar equipment in the framework of public tenders and public procurements in the territory of the SR.
On 23 September 2020, a proposal of commitments was submitted to the Office by a party to the proceedings, the compliance with which should eliminate the preliminary competition concerns of the Office in the given case.
The Office hereby invites market participants to submit any comments on the proposal of commitments in the given matter by 22 October 2020.
