On 1 August 2014 the Antimonopoly Office of the Slovak Republic initiated the administrative proceedings in the matter of concentration which according to notification is grounded in acquisition of exclusive indirect control of the company MEIF 4 Luxembourg C Holdings S.à.r.l., Grand Duchy of Luxembourg over the company Towercom, a.s., Bratislava. MEIF 4 Luxembourg C Holdings S.à.r.l. is 100% subsidiary of Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund (MEIF 4), which is a wholesale investment fund. Parties to the concentration act in the area of TV and radio broadcasting, data services, broadcasting services and frequency planning.
Third parties, namely natural and legal persons may submit their comments, objections and information on notified concentrations to the Office. We ask the third parties to submit their comments to the Office as soon as possible after the notification is published. This would enable the Office (considering the observance of legal periods) to deal with these comments within the first phase of notified concentration assessment.
