MERGERS: AMO imposed a fine for submitting incomplete documentation and information

On 21 December 2016 the Antimonopoly Office of the Slovak Republic (hereafter “the Office) issued a decision by which pursuant to the Article 38a Paragraph 1 Letter a) of the Act No. 136/2001 Coll. on Protection of Competition and on Amendments and Supplements to Act of the Slovak National Council No. 347/1990 Coll. on Organization of Ministries and Other Central Bodies of State Administration of the Slovak Republic as amended as amended (hereafter “the Act”) it imposed a fine in the amount of EUR 1 000 on the undertaking Sandberg Capital, správ. spol., a.s., seated at Dvořákovo nábrežie 8, 811 02 Bratislava, ID: 47 255 277 (hereafter “Sandberg Capital).

The undertaking Sandberg Capital infringed the provisions of the Article 10 Paragraph 9 of the Act by submitting incomplete documentation and information in notification of the merger during the administrative proceedings in the matter of merger of the undertakings Sandberg Capital, TERNO real estate, s.r.o., Diligentia R.C., s.r.o. and TERNO Group, k.s.  

The decision came into force on 13 January 2017.
