European Commission has extended the validity of regional aid map for the years 2014 - 2020 for the Slovak Republic until 31 December 2021

The European Commission came to the conclusion that the extension of the regional aid map for the years 2014 - 2020 for the Slovak Republic until 31 December 2021 meets the criteria for compatibility with the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, as it complies with the conditions set out in the Regional State Aid Guidelines for 2014 - 2020, as well as with the extended period of their application announced by the European Commission on 2 July 2020.
The notification concerns only the extension of validity of regional aid map for the Slovak Republic until 31 December 2021 inclusive, and all other conditions and obligations set out in the European Commission decision in the case SA.37447 of 22 January 2014 approving the regional aid map for the Slovak Republic on the basis of the Regional State Aid Guidelines for the years 2014 - 2020 remain unchanged.
