MERGERS: AMO SR initiated an administrative proceeding in the matter of merger of undertakings STABILITA, d.d.s., a.s., Railways of the Slovak Republic, and Pro Partners Holding, a.s.

On 27 October 2021 the Antimonopoly Office of the Slovak Republic, the Division of Concentrations, (hereafter “the Office”) initiated an administrative proceeding in the matter of merger, which according to the merger notification is grounded in the change of control over company STABILITA, d.d.s., a.s., the Slovak Republic from exclusive control of undertaking Železnice Slovenskej republiky (Railways of the Slovak Republic, hereafter „RSR“) to joint control of undertakings RSR and Pro Partners Holding, a.s., the Slovak Republic by the form of creating a joint venture.

Third parties, namely natural and legal persons may submit their comments, objections and information on notified mergers to the Office. We request the third parties to submit their comments to the Office as soon as possible after the publishing of notification, which may allow the Office to deal with these comments in the first phase of assessment of notified merger with respecting the legal periods.
