AMO SR develops cooperation with the University of Economics in Bratislava and prepares a conference together with its faculty

On 23 March 2017 the Antimonopoly Office of the Slovak Republic (hereafter “the Office“) and the University of Economics in Bratislava signed a memorandum of cooperation.
Following this, the Office and the Faculty of National Economy and the Faculty of Economic Informatics have signed agreements to intensify mutually beneficial cooperation in tasks of own and social interests and to develop mutual partnership.
The cooperation agreements will be jointly realized particularly in the areas of scientific-research and advisory activities, educational process as well as other socially beneficial activities.
The forms of cooperation in the priority areas are specified in the cooperation agreement with the Faculty of National Economy of the university and in the cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Economic Informatics of the university.
Within the frame of the cooperation, the Office and the Faculty of National Economy have agreed on organizing a conference, which will be held on 25 October 2017 and during which the current trends in the area of competition will be presented and discussed from the view of academic research and practical economically-political needs of the Office. The traditional May term of the Office´s conferences has been changed considering its recently held expert conference with an international participation named the European Competition Day during the Slovak Presidency of the Council of the EU and also due to the neeed to process current competition questions.
