On 20 October 2020 the Antimonopoly Office of the Slovak Republic, the Division of Concentrations, (hereafter “the Office“) initiated an administrative proceedings in the matter of a merger, which according to the merger notification is grounded on the acquisition of exclusive control of the undertaking TCL China Star Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., New District Shenzhen, China over the undertakings Samsung Suzhou Module Co., Ltd., Suzhou, China and Samsung Suzhou LCD Co., Ltd., Suzhou, China.

Third parties, namely natural and legal persons may submit their comments, objections and information on notified mergers to the Office. We request the third parties to submit their comments to the Office as soon as possible following the publishing of notification what may allow the Office to deal with these comments in the first phase of assessment of notified merger with respecting the legal periods.
